Michelle grew up in Ontario and moved to Calgary at 19. Her career journey began as a certified massage therapist. She ventured out into food service and began working in restaurants, moving up to management roles, where she found a passion for problem-solving, delegating, and leading a team. As a location-opening member of the restaurant management team, Michelle took a deep dive into the hiring process and recruitment. She moved into full-time recruitment with a staffing agency and fell in love with the fast-paced environment, helping people make a living, juggling multiple tasks, and developing client relationships. Today, with almost 10 years experience in the Recruitment Industry, she is a valued member of team Matrix, leveraging her leadership/management skills and recruitment skills on a daily basis. In her spare time, Michelle is equally busy with a 6-year-old daughter, reading, backyard fires, cooking, adventures, and binge-watching the occasional good show or true crime story.
